Fun Stuff

Fun Stuff

  • Tennis: I have played social and competitive tennis since 1993 with Greenvale Tennis Club.
  • Badminton: I play socially with the Diamond Valley Badminton Association and am starting competition in 2010.
  • Trading Card Games: I have played Magic: the Gathering socially and competitively since 1995. A big highlight was qualifying for and participating in the Australian National Championships in 2007. Also, I gained pro-player status after finishing 42nd out of 416 at Grand Prix Melbourne in 2009.
  • Board Games: I sometimes play board games such as Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne. I am also working on a game of my own which is currently in consideration for publication as of January 2010.
  • Computer Games: My current favourite is the strategy-based and open-source game The Battle for Wesnoth. I also enjoy many of the Blizzard Entertainment games such as the Warcraft franchise.
  • Music: I played the clarinet during high school but have been retired since then.
