Volume Determination of Regular and Irregular Objects
Using Orthogonal Projection Views.

The aim of this thesis was to produce a device which could
optically measure hte volume of a loaf of bread to an accuracy of 2 % or
better. The method employed was a simple three-camera view with each camera
at 90 degrees to the others. Then, like the architect's three views of
a house, I could integrate the three view areas to obtain a volume.
