SIGIR 2006 Student & New Researcher Travel Support

NOTE. Deadline has been extended to May 8.

SIGIR invites applications for small awards to help cover the cost of travel, subsistence, and registration to the SIGIR 2006 conference.

Preference will be given to

Principal authors of posters or demos who are presenting their work may also receive funding if budget permits. Authors who are not presenting will not be funded.

It is assumed that applicants have only limited alternative travel support. Your advisor will be asked to confirm that your institution cannot provide significant levels of travel support.

The deadline for applying for student travel support is May 8. Decisions will be announced by May 22.
