Research

I'm a PhD graduate at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology at RMIT University. The title of my PhD thesis is "Evaluation of Effective XML Information Retrieval". I was supervised by Dr. James Thom and Dr. Saied Tahaghoghi, and my external consultant (formerly my second supervisor) was Dr. Anne-Marie Vercoustre. I am currently focusing on research and development of effective database and information retrieval techniques in the field of XML entity ranking.

Update: I don't have an office on the RMIT campus anymore. I currently work as an Associate Professor at European University, Faculty of Informatics in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Between December 2006 - December 2007 I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at INRIA Rocquencourt in France. The best way to contact me is via my European University email (shown above).

I have created my Web profile on the LinkedIn business network. LinkedIn is an interesting business and socializing tool, which enables you to build a large network of professionals affiliated with industry or academia. In just a few days I have managed to create around 30 connections (still counting), and have received several endorsements (from my managers and co-workers) on my current teaching position. Highly recommended!
