Project 1: TCP congestion control. The major application in networks such as email, FTP etc. are based on TCP. When the network consisted with both wireless network and wired network, efficient allocation of limited become a critical issue. In some cases, one TCP connection can take over the whole bandwidth which causes fairness issue.

Project 2: Wireless sensor networking. Wireless sensor network has a very dynamic topology and limited energy. This project explores energy efficient networking schemes for sensor networks. A particular interest on MAC protocol design.

Project 3: Peer to peer networking is considered as the next generation networking technology. In P2P networks, every client is also a server. This project explore effective routing schemes for p2p networks.
