Interests
About my area, I am
interested in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Multiagent
Systems and, in general, most of the topics in computer science -except
Hardware, I'm not too used to it!
On my free time, what I prefer to do is to play videogames. I own a PSP
and expect to have some PC games soon. I like street racing games -Need
for Speed, Midnight Club-, horror games -Silent Hill-, classic skill
games -Megaman- and classic RPGs -Final Fantasy VI and 8, Chrono
Trigger, Parasite Eve. I'm not good at strategy or FPS -tried to play
Starcraft and Unreal... I am not such an online gamer, however, some
time ago I used to play WoW.
Some would ask: Why a KR&R PhD rather than something related to
videogames? Well, I like the intelligence part in videogames. Somehow,
I got the idea of my topic from Megaman Battle Network videogame...
I am also a fan of American Football and Formula 1, and as it is
difficult to follow them on Australia, I keep informed on Internet. I
am still trying to get used to the Footy and Cricket, and I had a
recent like for Tennis. Sometimes I practice Basketball and I am
currently swimming.
I like music, most of the genders, however I ran away of Reggaeton.
When I am calm, I like Billy Joel, Paul McCartney or even more
classical. While working, I like something more active, such as
Yellowcard, AAR or Story of the Year. You'll find more of these kind on
several videogames soundtracks.
I also like to watch and buy some movies, and I am rather fan from
fiction than from real-life movies. I do not read too much, but prefer
suspense reading.
I had also several projects on Flash -I like doing webpages on my very
free time, not as this page :-)
Some of these projects include the Tiancalli page, and all the work
regarding the Bachelor's representation during 2003 to 2005.
Finally, I am fan of photography. I hope to buy someday a nice camera
for night shootings. And hope also to upload some of my pictures in a
site soon.
