Dr Caspar Ryan

Hello, I am a Senior Lecturer in the

School of Computer Science and Information Technology

at RMIT University

Contents

Research

My research interests include: Code Mobility and Mobile Objects (especially Java based); Wireless Devices and Enterprise Computing; Virtual Communities, and the Empirical Study of Object-Oriented Development (read my PhD thesis on this topic here).

My main research involvement is as a CI on the Australian Research Council Discovery Grant “Designing for Efficiency, Reliability, and Maintainability in Service-Oriented Architectures”. Previously I managed a project Frameworks for the Development of Next Generation Internet Applications in the Australian Telecommunications Co-Operative Research Centre ATcrc.  I am currently supervising research students at Honours, Master's and PhD level and am always looking for keen students to supervise.
