Composite Objects
Area under construction.
Composite objects are objects which are made up of parts, thus
having a structure. Typically the parts may also be objects.
My interest in composite objects lies in two (related) areas:
Developing a logical reasoning system that captures our intuitions
about how we represent and reason about/with composite objects. This
work starts from a description logics base, and publications can be
found amongst my publications related to
description logics.
Working with composite objects in an information management
system. Interesting issues here have to do with versioning of
composite objects, sharing of composite objects, and varying views on
composite objects. This work is done mostly in the context of my work with
the LINCKS system.
Publications can be found amongst my
publications related to LINCKS.
