Honours Topics

Below are some suggestions of mine for topics for an Honours thesis. The main constraint here is to find something that is interesting, has sufficient depth to provide a pathway to develop into a PhD topic, and yet which can be accomplished by an Honours student in (the equivalent of) one semester of full-time work. As a result, it is often a fairly tightly constrained project, so that it can be achieved feasibly within the time available. Below are some suggestions of mine; as with all topics for student work, these are a starting point for negotiations, not an unchangeable contract.
